Last night was my first official class for Sourdough Artisan Breads class. We made Whole Wheat and Honey Sourdough Bread and it was really good. Not only did it taste super yummy, my loaf was so pretty. 😉
In addition to making our first sourdough bread of the class, we also began our starters for the class. We began both a 100% hydration starter, as well as a 60% hydration starter. We will be required to feed and take care of these starters for the entire length of the class because it is from these starters that all our sourdough breads will be made from.
