In last night’s Chocolate Confections class we made Grape Gummies… Yummy!
We were told to be creative and bring in something to create a mould in a sheet of cornstarch. Basically everyone brought boring ideas like beads (of different shapes and sizes) to make their mould shapes. I brought Lego! Haha.. Can you tell which are the Lego toys and which are the Grape Gummies?! 😉
Although that’s all we made in class last night, we still were assigned a homework assignment – Liquor Cordials.
So why didn’t we just make those last night in class?
Well.. because to make Liquor Cordials you need to allow them to set for 12-24 hours to create a skin, before you can totally cover them in chocolate. Thus it has become a homework assignment. 😉
