Bagels!

Today in my Breakfast Breads class we made Bagels! In fact, a bunch of different flavours of Bagels, it just depended on what you wanted to make. I made Cinnamon and Raisin Bagels, Cheddar Cheese Bagels, Poppy Seed Bagels, and Sesame Seed Bagels. Yum yum yum! 😀

Dunking Bagel dough in boiling water before baking to help create that yummy crust while keeping the inside soft and chewy.

Key Lime Chocolate Balls

Yup, that’s right, last night I made Key Lime Chocolate Balls. 😉

I used the same recipe from the Key Lime Chocolates from my last Chocolate Confections Class, only this time no layer of coconut. This time it was all Key Lime. Well, Key Lime filling in a yummy milk chocolate shell. And to finish the chocolates off, I dipped them in milk chocolate with a more rustic look. 😀

Danishes…. :)

Today in my Breakfast Breads class we made Danishes! I made Cherry & Cream Cheese Danishes, and Lemon & Cream Cheese Danishes in the traditional folded over envelope fold. I made Hazelnut Nut Filling Danishes in the butterfly fold, and using different fillings as additional flavouring such as cherry, blueberry, and lemon. I also made Poppy Seed Danishes in the twist and spiral shape, again using additional flavouring such as cherry, lemon, and blueberry. Yummy! 😀

Hot Danishes right out of the oven! 😀
